Each member of the store team manages the most important relationship in our company - the relationship with our customer! Whether selling products, attending to customer inquiries, merchandising or receiving inventory, our store roles are imperative to the overall success of our business.

Customer Experience Representative (CER)
As an Indigo CER, you are the first and last point of contact with our customers. You will be part of a team that has a passion for what we sell and enjoy sharing that passion with our customers.
Also, as a CER, you will participate in our Essential curriculum receiving great training in retail customer service, receiving, cash, merchandising, and more depending on the specifics of your role. There are many opportunities to try different aspects of the CER role as well as advance into store management positions.
Assistant Customer Experience Manager (ACEM)
As an ACEM in either Large or Small Format stores, you will support the GM/CEM in leading a team of CERs to engage customers and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will support your manager by training and coaching CERs as well as coordinating and assigning tasks to the CERs to help maintain an inviting environment within the store.
Customer Experience Managers (CEM)
As a CEM in our Large Format stores you will provide daily leadership to specific areas of the store, and actively ensure that the best customer experience is delivered. As a CEM In our Small Format stores (Coles / Smithbooks), you will be accountable for the overall success of the store, the same as a General Manager in a Large Format store (Indigo / Chapters).
General Managers (GM)
As a GM you will lead our Indigo and Chapters stores and are ultimately accountable for the overall success of the store. Building a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff who help to enhance the customer experience is your top priority. You ensure operational effectiveness by overseeing sales, service, merchandising, promotions, loss prevention, and inventory control.
